Althaspis longirostra (Zych, 1927) (?)
Althaspis is an extinct genus of pteraspidid heterostracan agnathan with long rostral plate (nose). Family: Rhinopteraspididae; Order: Pteraspidiforme; Subclass: Heterostraci; Class: Pteraspidomorphi; Phylum: Chordata. The length of an A. longirostra rostral plate can be up to 75 mm. All other Podolian species of the genus (Althaspis sapovensis Novitskaya, 1986, Althaspis tarloi) had shorter rostral plate. The actual scientific work is (Voichyshyn, 2011, pp. 122-127).
No repair, no restoration. Very rare. First time for sale.
